With our newly opened headquarters, we are planning for significant growth and we are looking for someone who is customer-focused to  be part of it! We are in need of a new person to help ensure our Dealers are ordering, receiving and paying for boats that they need and want and to ensure that they are comfortable at every point during that process.  This is where you come in.  We are looking for a friendly, bilingual, helpful and clever individual to fit this position and be a true Legend Ambassador to new and existing independently owned Legend Dealers across Canada.

Some of your Duties will Include:

Inside Sales/Dealer Care Administrator: 

  • Assist DSM team with booking/ordering process 
  • Review all booking orders and enter into Salesforce ensuring absolute accuracy. Contact dealers directly for any discrepancies in their orders 
  • Assist dealers with problem warranty claims by working with warranty department in solving issues 
  • Review outstanding warranties and contact dealers to address issues in order to resolve 
  • Assist and train dealers on how to place boat orders 
  • Assist and train dealers on how to place parts orders 
  • Assist and train dealers on product registration 
  • Work with dealers to maximize parts booking orders 
  • Handle incoming dealer parts orders 
  • Review all boat invoicing checking for accuracy 
  • Working with the Logistics team, you will contact dealers to inform them of incoming loads, then follow up after delivery that all was fine. 
  • Take incoming dealer calls and answer their questions 
  • Assist dealers with inventory availability 
  • Assist in planning of dealer corporate shows ensuring P.O.P material is available, ensuring boat show boats are delivered in time for shows, floor plan layout, billing and payments are sent and received 
  • Establish dealer brochure allocations and P.O.P needs 
  • Assist in dealer meeting planning and execution 
  • Create dealer billing and warranty claims if and when called upon 
  • Administer incoming sales promotions and credit dealer accounts 
  • Reconcile dealer accounts and issue monthly statements 
  • Perform other duties as they are assigned 

Accounting Administration: 

  • Produce Dealer invoicing. Ensure all rebate programs, financing terms and freight programs are invoiced correctly and accordingly 
  • Ensure compliance by all dealers according to the Dealer Program in place 
  • Ensure the online systems are maintained and accurate according to product shipped 
  • Ensure appropriate financing approvals are in place for all dealers prior to scheduled boat shipments 
  • Handle all Dealer inquiries as needed in relation to load schedules, model mixes and other miscellaneous requests, ensuring a level of professionalism expected by Legend Boats and the product we represent 
  • All Dealer sales updates, including commission calculations and journal entry posting 
  • Assist with monthly reconciliations of the wholesale General Ledger accounts related to our dealers purchases, our sales targets and DSM goals 
  • Complete monthly reports or compile statistics and data for the Dealer Network as requested

Warranty Administration and Monitoring: 

  • Monitor warranty claims by dealers and ensure they are handled on a timely basis. 
  • Process warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation as required to help the team. 
  • Provide customer service regarding warranty questions and service 
  • Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule. 
  • Post credits on computer. 
  • Follow up on payment of outstanding claims. 
  • Keep informed of all factory recalls and bulletins. 
  • Interface between company and in-field personnel. 
  • Arrange for parts to be shipped. 
  • Keep track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed. 
  • Maintain all service and customer records as required by the warrantor. 
  • Refer and occasionally dispatch service calls to local Contract Service Centers or company employees to complete in-field repairs when needed. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 


  • Coordinate with dealers current information about deliveries, cancellations and rescheduling. Wholesale Parts Sales and Service 
  • Handle incoming phone calls and email inquiries 
  • Ensure orders are being processed daily and in a timely manner 
  • Ensure parts are shipped by Purolator, Manitoulin or any other carriers with the best rates possible 
  • Ensure all parts provided are accounted for on work orders 
  • Ensure warranty is claimed on any defective parts 
  • Work with production supervisors as needed 
  • Receive parts as they arrive and store appropriately in the warehouse 
  • Ensure all paperwork receivings are handled in a timely manner and submitted to accounting
